Call of The Wild

I'm currently reading 'the call of the wild' by Jack London, it's such an amazingly visual imagery that I have to keep scribbling down thumbnails, here's one of the thumbnails I developed into a finished piece

May the Forth be with you

MAY THE FORTH BE WITH YOU........
I've not had chance to sit down at my desk for a while because I recently moved house and been busy unpacking and generally settling in, so I'm feeling a little rusty. Internet holidays such as 'May the 4th' I find are a great way to come up with a blogpost without putting to much thought into it and coming up with something on a short, self motivated deadline. The other great thing with 'May the 4th' is that the characters are already set in your mind and you just have to come up with your own stamp on it. For this image I tried to create more of a setting and not just characters in negative space, which is what I usually tend to do. As an image I'm not 100% convinced it works, but I had fun experimenting with it and thought I'd share it with you guys.
